Why is my result lower than the advertised speed?
Advertising methods, Wi-Fi, device capability, protocol overhead, congestion and package wording can all explain a difference. Test over Ethernet and read the provider's minimum-speed information.
Should I use a large test size?
Large tests can produce a steadier result on very fast connections, but they consume substantial data. Start with a smaller size and increase it only when needed.
Why does the location look wrong?
IP geolocation is approximate and may identify an ISP gateway. Browser geolocation is more precise but requires permission.
How often should I test?
Run several tests at different times, especially when diagnosing intermittent problems. Keep other network use consistent so results are comparable.
